Venous Stenting and Thrombolysis Training – London, UK

Main Objective

To observe and ensure sufficient skills by providing detailed knowledge, and live cases in a clinical setting to initiate the introduction of stenting procedures and catheter-directed thrombolysis.

Registration is limited to 20 learners. First come – first served.

Is this the course for you?

  1. Preferably have attended the EVF Hands-on Workshop (not required);
  2. Intend to update in the modern management of acute and chronic venous outflow obstruction, particularly the technique of venous stenting and thrombolysis.

Stent cases performed live with commentary. Stent technique, anticoagulation strategies, thrombolysis with stenting and patient follow-up will be discussed.

Course fee £300 includes:

*Hands on Components, Case Studies and Live Cases description:

 

The Hands on Components and the Live Cases are designed to allow attendees to be taken step by step through the procedure and can experience of using devices in a simulated environment. We will cover multiple scenarios and discuss, guided by a proctor, the procedural decision making steps, pre and post procedure management and devices. The Case Study Sessions will comprise interactive tips and tricks sessions to discuss complications and procedural handling involving video and animations.
